Well it has been a while since my last journal and as my first of 2013 I will be making further updates to the Halo scale chart and not just the minor additions like the Mantle's Approach or the Covenant super cruiser but also to begin improving upon the layout and ship tags and also at some point down the line give some detail to the ships and not just to the canon ones but the ships that I've only visualized in my head or on a few rough sketches like the Forerunner Builder ship or the UNSC Assault Carrier, this should give a better understanding for the reasons behind the design and try to move away from the mysterious black silhouettes I've been using for so long.

A surprising reappearance of a true expert when it comes to the scale of the Halo universe as Stephen Loftus has released an update to his scale charts, originally depicting only objects found in Halo CE, 2, and 3, the update includes additions from ODST, Wars and Reach but excluding Halo 4 and all the novels, his work was posted on Waypoint here-

And now on a similar vein here is a glimpse of some of the recent work done on Halo mod of the Sins of a Solar Empire game Sins of the Prophets available on MOD DB-
[link], I was really impressed with this MOD's scale chart at the bottom of the page though some of the models may have been reduced in size to fit better in the game (Infinity may be a less than likely inclusion). A beta version of the Mod is available if anyone has a copy of the Sins game should give it a try, also the person responsible for modeling and texturing those beautiful UNSC ships can be found here on DA-

Hope to have something finished soon.
